Google Maps QR Code Generator for Any Address
A location QR code opens the map app on the scanner's phone with directions to your address or GPS pin. Print it on signs, flyers and invitations, and move the pin if your location changes.
How a location QR code works
Set the address or the pin
Enter a street address, a Google Maps link or exact GPS coordinates.
Print the code on your signage
Download an SVG, EPS or PNG file and use it on yard signs, shop windows, flyers or event invitations.
Move the pin if you move
Change the address in the dashboard. Every printed code leads to the new place.
What happens when someone scans it
The scanner's phone opens its map app, Google Maps on Android or Apple Maps on iPhone, at the location you set. They tap Directions and get a route from where they are standing.
Why put a QR code on an address
A printed address still has to be typed into a map before it helps anyone. A code removes that step. It matters most on yard signs, invitations and delivery notes, where people are outside, on the move or reading a printed page with no link to tap.
When your location changes
Moving offices, changing an event venue or relocating a pop-up does not make the printed material useless. Edit the address once and every printed code uses it.
Where location codes get used
- Real estate yard signs that send buyers to a listing
- Shop windows and flyers that show how to reach a new store
- Event invitations and wedding stationery with venue directions
- Depots, job sites and equipment lockers that crews need to find
- Food trucks and pop-up shops that change position
