Acceptable Use Policy

Destinations that are not allowed

• Phishing: pages that collect passwords, payment details or personal data under false pretenses.
• Malware: anything that installs or delivers malicious software.
• Fraud and scams: fake stores, fake payment requests or deceptive offers.
• Illegal goods and content: anything illegal where it is offered or where the code is used.
• Infringement: pirated content, counterfeit goods or misuse of someone else's trademark.
• Harassment and exploitation: content that threatens, harasses or exploits people, including any sexual content involving minors.

Rules specific to printed codes

• No impersonation: do not print codes designed to look like another company's code or sticker, or place codes over someone else's signage or packaging.
• Regulated packaging: if your product is regulated, the information a code opens must stay accurate and lawful for as long as the product is on sale. A code does not replace information you are required to print.
• No bait-and-switch: do not repoint a printed code to content unrelated to what the print promised, such as from a product manual to a scam or adult content.

Using the service itself

• Do not attempt to break, overload or bypass our redirect network, account limits or security.
• Do not resell access to the service in a way that hides who controls a code.
• Do not use the service to send spam or to evade spam or abuse filters.

How we enforce this policy

We check destinations for known threats and review reports we receive. When we find a problem:

• Most issues: we email the account address and give you 30 days to change the destination or ask for a refund under our Refund Policy.
• Serious issues: for active phishing or malware, fraud, illegal content or a legal requirement, we may disable the code or account immediately and without notice.
• Legal reporting: we may report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.
