Got Questions?

## PDF QR Code Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about hosting, replacing, and printing PDF QR codes.

### How large can my uploaded PDF files be?

Our standard permanent hosting supports PDF documents up to 20MB, which easily accommodates high-resolution graphic menus, wholesale catalogs, architectural floor plans, and technical manuals spanning over 100 pages.

### Can I replace the PDF document later without changing the QR code?

Yes. This is the fundamental power of our Dynamic PDF infrastructure. You simply upload a new PDF file from your dashboard, and the existing printed QR code immediately delivers the new document to scanners with zero reprinting required.

### Do mobile scanners need an app or PDF reader to view the document?

No. Scanners are routed to a fast, mobile-optimized web viewer that renders directly inside mobile Safari, Chrome, and Samsung Internet. Users can scroll through pages effortlessly, zoom, or tap download to save the original file.

### Are scan counts capped or throttled on PDF QR codes?

No. All PDF QR codes include 100% unlimited scans forever. Whether your restaurant menu receives 200 scans a week or your product packaging user manual receives 2,000,000 scans, there are zero monthly quotas, throttling, or overage charges.

### Can I host the PDF on my own company server instead?

Yes. You have the flexibility to either upload the raw PDF directly to our high-speed global edge storage or point the dynamic QR code to any external URL hosting your document.

### What vector print formats do I receive for packaging and signage?

You receive high-resolution vector print assets including SVG, EPS, and print-ready PDF at 300+ DPI, ensuring razor-sharp reproduction on physical table tents, retail cartons, posters, and books.
